How did I create my Voki? First, I wanted to decide what I needed if for. Do I need if for a website? What was I going to use it for? I needed it for website for school.
Second, I wanted to know how to make the Voki. Step one, go to http://www.voki.com/site/create Step two, click or type the link, in a search bar. Wait for it to load. Step three, pick out your avatar. There are little bars at the bottom underneath the box that you can click on so you can change the skin color or what certain areas on your avatar to make it a different color or at the top to add hair and stuff. Step four, when you are done customizing you Voki once you click done you can change the background, and you can give it a voice. If you want to change the background it is just like making your avatar. But if you want to give it a voice you have to click on the little keyboard tile and you type in what you want your Voki to say. At the bottom right under the text box is where you can change the voices and stuff. If you want a Scottish accent you can click on the little down tab and scrollthrough and click the one that you want. Then you can click the voice that you want. You just do the same thing you click the down bar and scroll through and pick the one that you want. Step five, once you have completed your Voki you want close out of the voice application thing you want to hit Publish. Step six, once you have proceeded to do so you should see a screen pop up and it is asking you if you want to name you avatar. Name it whatever you want it won’t really matter what the name is because it won’t show up when apply it to where ever you want to put it. One you have put in you or whatever name you want to. After you have hit save you are ready… you have finished you Voki.
Now, if you want to link it to another place you would have to click the little chain button. There should be a box that popped up. First you click the copy link button. Once have copied the link go to the site you want you link to be on then you would highlight the word with your mouse. Hit the back button and click Paste. Now the next time you go to where ever your Voki is all you need to do is click in the word you copied and you should be able to click play hear what you typed for it to say.
The good things about using Voki are… that is you want to prepare a speech you won’t have to speak if you are afraid of that kind of stuff. All you have to do is type it. Now, the bad things, with your avatar voices are really weird. They don’t sound fluent. They sound more like a robot. At first I tried to record my voice it didn’t work so I believe that the typing is way better.
Going back to the avatars the ones with the little graduation caps cost money. If you don’t want to pay for your Voki then you are going to have to use the others. I know that some or the ones you have to pay for are super cute, but unless you want to pay you can’t use them.
How do you make tagxedo? Well first, I want to tell you that tagxedo is great for word art. If you want to have like a really cool presentation all you need to do is go to http://www.tagxedo.com/app.html . Click create in the top right corner. Next, hit load and then you will be able to type word. After, you have done that go to the middle bottom and hit shape and you can click any shape you want.
Tagxedo is super cool. If/ when you do use it you can like change the colors and stuff. Now, I told you how to get started, but as you keep don’t it than you will get the hang or if and you can experiment with the other tabs.
The tagxedo will not be perfect the first time. Or maybe It will be for mine it wasn’t. I hope you enjoy Tagxedo.
The color wheel. Many people have used the color wheel, but one very important person used a more large or detailed color wheel. Vincent Van-Gough. He used his version of the color wheel. He used it to do his very famous bedroom masterpiece. Van-Gough dosent use the boring colors like red, yellow, and orange. He uses indigos, periwinkle, and maroons. That was/still is a painting that artists get inspired by.
After you have decided you want to make a color wheel you want to figure out what colors you are going to use. The normal basic colors or the more intricate colors like Van-Gough. Once you have decided you want to go to google images and look up that color. But if you want to have a theme then you would have to look up the theme and the color. For example, blue butterfly or whatever you want like that. Then you just have to put to the size that you want and name the color if you want and you should be done.
The graffiti wall. In my opinion you should do a graffiti wall to plan out a brick wall. Maybe if you are going to paint or a mural somewhere in your house or for a client, if you have a business.
Now, I used the resource gimp, and I don’t know how to get it from somewhere else. I you have gotten gimp or another program to use. But it is a little complicated to do so if you don’t want to spend a super amount of time than you can always draw the wall.
The words that I chose, I didn’t really know how to think of the right words. I thought if I chose the words myself I would sound conceded, like if I put cool or gorges than I would sound full of myself. Those are just examples I don’t actually think I’m cool or gorges. Anyways, I asked my friends choose the words for me. Like, skinny I am skinny and my friend wanted me to put that because it describes me. So yeah let my friends choose the words.
Giuseppe Arcimboldi got his ideas from his dad. Giuseppe Arcimboldi’s dad was a glass blower. And that’s how he got started in his art business. To progress is career he started doing self-portraits made out of fruits, vegetables and more. Each object is not random. They are selected with a certain photo idea or theme.
While I was doing this assignment I discovered that I wouldn’t be able to use twenty items in one face. I just couldn’t figure out the right angle and shape, it was just difficult for me so I did a full body. I know it doesn’t look the best but I did the best I could do. Even though Giuseppe Arcimboldi has died he is still remembered.
I also decided to take the photograph outside and in the shade. Sometimes if you take a photo in the direct sunlight it can give it a glair or it can be to bright and you might not be able to see the picture very well, but if you do it in the shade there is a slight chance that it can be to dark or there it to much or a shadow to were you cant see it. Luckily for me that didnt happen and it was super sunny outside, so some of the sun shined into the shade, and it helped with not washing her out of the photo because she is so pale.
You may be thinking, "Why outside?" or " Why aginst a brick wall or door?" If not OPPS! Well im going to tell you why i decided to do it like this. Well behind this door there is a magical portal that leads to an art demention. And the only way to get there is climb to the tip top on the power line and then do a special rain dance or you can open the door and walk through if you want to be boring. HAHA Im just kidding. Its just a prop. If you wanted to you could do outside or inside or really anywhere you wanted it to be. Be cause art is wherever you want it to be.
Why isnt she smiling? Well, sometime if you make your model not smile it give it more depth in the photo. Also, if you are going to bo something like this then it might take a little longer than you think, because you will want to try out different shades and different backdrops to see which one you want to use. But if you have like a very spisific place or object that you want it to be taken in frout or behide it that good for it. Your only limit is your imagianation. Ok well that a lie. Unless you have like a lot of time and money on your hands. Anyways, if you are going to do this project have fun with it. Thats what art is all about, well in my mind it is.
Yes, I know she looks a little like an alien or like a monster from another planet, but I promise its her. Its not a demon creature. Now, I know that you might have some douts about doing something like this. For thoughs who dont than... thanks for reading, I guess, but for thoughs who do and think that it might be a little hard to do this its not. At some places it can be a little frushturating, but most of the time it was fine. If you are thinking about doing the project but dont know if you should... JUST DO IT its super fun once you get into the hang of it. I hope that you decide to do it.

Narrorator- As Margo wakes up from her long night sleep she wakes up to see something is wrong with her alarm clock. Her room mate wakes up to a terrifing scream.
(Alarm clock goes off)
Margo- OH MY GOSH!!!!! MY ALARM CLOCK DIDNT GO OFF... IM SO LATE.
Torrye- Oh my gosh are you okay?
Margo- Yeah, I'm fine, my alarm clock was set to P.M and not A.M
Torrye- Oh im sorry
Margo- Its okay
Torrye- Is there anything I can do?
Margo- Yes, Can you please help me run arrends today? Please?
Torrye- Yeah, I will call Milo, Cecil, and Marley.
Margo- Thank you, so much, that will help so much.
(Torrye calles their friends and they start to head over.)
(There Is a knock at the door)
Marley- We are here.
Torrye- Come on in.
Milo- Why are we even here?
Cecil- We are helping our friend.
Milo- Who said that we were friends?
Marley- Okay, what was rude.
Milo- Ya, well
Cecil- Anyways, What do you need us to do exactly?
Margo- I was hopeing you would help me get food and drinks and some decotations at the store.
Marley- What do you need all that stuff for?
Margo- We are having a party tonight...
Milo- Are we even invited?
Marley- Ya are we?
Milo- Watch us not be invited.
Torrye- Yes, yall are invited
Milo- Good because then i wasnt going to help.
Marley- Yeah well, she invited us we are ALL helping. Okay?... got it?
Milo- Got it.
Marley- Good.
Narrorator- As Margo, Cecil, Torrye, Marley, and yes even Milo, finished up their shopping for the party tonight they all go to there own houses/apartments to get ready, Torrye and Margo hear a knock at the frount door.
(KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK.)
Torrye- Who is it?
Elyshia- Its the Pizza Delivery Guy
Torrye- Come on in i will pay you in a second
Narrorator- Torrye hands Alfredo the money when she relizes something!!!
Elyshia- Oh hey, Torrye, hows it going?
Torrye- Good, You?
Elyshia- Okay, This moment isnt werid at all.
Torrye- Yeah. so not akward at all
(Marley walks in the door for the party, with everyone else who was invited as well.)
Marley- Okay, WHOS READY TO PARTY!!!!!!
Torrye- ME!!!!!!
Narrorator- As they girls and the rest of the people at the party have fun the night goes finished and the story ends.
