             Voki is a fun tool that students can use for homework, classwork or project. Customize their appearance and what they say, and share with others! This website is a good tool for making sure kids have fun while doing assignments so they do not get off task. You can make ur own character and it can sound and say what you want it to . If you are using voki for free there might be somethings you can’t use and they should have a little hat that looks like the ones used for graduation.  

            You must first make your character by clicking the link and pressing the voki button in the top left corner on the home page . There is a page that will pop up next and they will already have a random character there for you . You may change how your character looks by clicking one of the buttons under the customize character box.  The first button under the customize your character box should be the head of you character .

            Now right under the head there is arrows of weather your person can be a animal, political, ect. Once you have decided on the one you like the most by clicked the arrows to find it you must click on it. Scroll through the people or whatever you chose till you find one you like . You can even go to the buttons next to the head and fix you charcaters hair , lips and a lot of other stuff too.

             Next to the head button there is a clothing button you should now click on this. There may or may not be more arrows under clothing that will let you scroll through and find different types of clothes . Now you have found witch type of clothes you are going to wear and your going to pick witch piece of clothing from that type u will want your character to wear. You also can click the hat next to the shirt button under clothing and it should give you some more choices .

           The bling is just extras and not much needed stuff. Now at the bottom of the little boxes there should be a done box. You should now click on the T .This is where you can have you voki character to say  and sound like how you want it to . You can click on the backgrounds app then click the arrows to find the background you want and choose it and your done .

Taxedo

                Taxedo is a website where you can use words and make them a picture. So, to make this picture with words you would have to go to the taxedo website and press load . After you press load, u must type your words to make the picture . You type one word and press enter and, then type another word and ect.

            The words I chose were words that represented my personality . I would type words that best fit me and how I act .If you want the picture to be more detailed you would have to type more words. You can also mess around with how your picture looks by messing with how dark or how light it is.

            The picture I chose for my words wat a picture of me . So, choosing the words that best describe my personality to make my face is really cool. Making a picture of me using word that describe me is more important than just seeing a reagular picture of me . This is because you don’t just only see what I look like but, also what makes me different than other people .

The color wheel

                The color wheel is a visual representation of colors arranged in a certain order because of how they relate to eachother. You can use the different colors and put them together to make artwork . Using the color wheel could also help you decide what color you would need to use if you are confused on what color would look good next to each other.

                Monochromatic is a color scheme that uses colors that are more natural types of colors and shades of them. Artist use this color scheme to make the people who see their art more comfortable and relaxed. For example, the artist Vincent van Gogh created the piece of artwork called “The Starry Night” in June 1889. He used the normal basic colors and blue to make you feel peaceful by looking at the night sky. I think he used the colors to make people feel less stressed out and more relaxed so less people would feel bad.

Graffiti wall

Graffiti is drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed on a wall or other surface in a public place. Sometimes , the drawing are on places where they aren’t supposed to be . Witch can be illegal and can also not be at the same time. People might use the making of graffiti to send certain messages or make something be less plain .

I created a digital graffiti  wall using gimp and a website called http://postergen.com/graffiti-creator . Gimp is a computer program to make art online on a computer. There were six words to make look like graffiti . To make this look like that you have to save each individual word with a separate name .

The six words I chose were to represent me and my personality. One of these words is my name because they have to know who wrote the graffiti. I chose the words to represent me to make the plain brick wall something special for everyone to see . If people can see I can be brave enough to tell people who I am then why cant they.

            The artist named Acrimboldo was most know by his portrait heads made of completely fruit , vegetables, flowers , or food in general. Acrimboldo served as a court painter for 25 years. He also designed tapestries and stained glass windows. There is a possibility that some of  his inspiration  came from Leonardo da Vinci. Acrimboldo fills his painting with a lot of details that come together perfectly to make a human form. He wanted each part of the painting to relate to the object imagined for it.

            Given his reasoning , I chose the items I did because I wanted each part to represent something els and still look like a face. For example , I chose ramen noodles as the hair for my food face because I imagined the person with short curly hair . The reason I put them together they way I did was because even though the things used to make the face was not actual face parts I wanted them to still look like a part of a face.

Hello! My name is Dylan, and I am a girl.  As an unattractive girl, I am constantly getting made fun of for not being like the other kids and as I like to see it having an imagination like to sit by the tree in my backyard. While I am sitting by my favorite tree I write in my journal. Today while I was writing about my new crush Danny, and out of nowhere this little man jumps on my journal. The person is so small that we cannot normally see him. He comes to tell me something, but he doesn’t speak in a way I can understand. I can’t tell my parents about this little man, or as I like to call him “leaf boy”, because I would just sound crazy to them. I will find out what he is saying one day, I promise I will.

The next day, the man jumped back on my journal. But this time he was screaming and freaking out. I wanted to help this Leaf boy, but I didn’t know how I could. I told the boy to write down what he needed to tell me. Because he was so small he just rubbed his hands on the end of my pencil and wrote words with his hands. He wrote “our kind is now very weakened and the darkness is coming. I need your help to prevent this from happening .!!” I asked the Leaf man / boy “how can I help you when I am so big and you are so tiny?” The leaf boy then asked me to meet him back at the same place at exactly 12:45.

At exactly 12:45 I met the leaf boy, he told me to drink the drop off the leaf beside me. I did what he told me and started to shrink and freak out. Now that I was small the leaf boy could actually talk to me and I could understand him. He pointed straight to the tree, so I followed him into it. The first thing he said to me was that I was “the only one who could destroy the darkness.”  I asked the leaf boy “so how exactly am I supposed to do this all by myself.” He looked kind of surprised that I didn’t know. then he said “in the middle of the tree there hold the stone with a wand in it, and if you can pull it out you will find out exactly what to do after.” This is absolutely crazy, and amazing at the same time.

As the leaf boy and I travel up this ginormous tree he told me to “always look up because they can see you .” I don’t want to ask the leaf boy anymore questions or he might get angry with me . So I just start looking up and think “ who can see me I am so small and why does it even matter if they can see me or not ?” I look up again and this long giant furry beast is in my face , but it doesn’t seem to move . I think its asleep so I refrain from screaming and calmly tiptoe by this monstrosity being and keep to myself.

After we past all the sleeping monstrosities , we finally get to the middle of the tree and there is big dark-dressed men guarding the stone in supposed to pull the wand from. Finally after keeping to myself all this time and being confused I asked the leaf boy “what are we supposed to do now .?”  He responded in a very confident tone “ just walk up there and pass them if they charge dodge them .” So I did, and they just stand there while I am walking past them to the stone. The stone seemed to have some holes in it witch were completely black , but the rest of the stone was lit up with color . I pull the wand out of the stone and the darkness came in closer and (I remember how the leaf boy told me to look up) . As I look up , I point the wand up and the darkness turned into a lot of more little leaf people just like the leaf boy . Having saved these tiny people’s lives and I felt amazing.

The leaf boy said “see I told you that you could do it . Just take small steps and if you are still overwhelmed , take a big breath and look up and think what to do next.” I hugged the leaf boy and all the sudden got big again .  Now whenever I picked on or can’t understand in school I just look up and breathe . The tree and the leaf boy taught me that , no matter what just believe in yourself and you can do it .

My story

            I was the first born out of three children and I was named after my maternal uncle, Harrison Young , but my parents couldn’t decide on a middle name so they just used the letter “S” after both of my grandfathers. As a young boy, I grew up on the family farm in Independence , Missouri , and did not go to collage. After high school I worked a lot of jobs , In five years I went back to farm and joined the National Guard.  

            When World War 1 broke out I volunteered for duty , but I was 33 and that 2 years over the age limit to be drafted and eligible exemption as a farmer, I helped organize my National Guard regiment, which was ultimately called into service in the 129th Field Artillery. After the war, I returned home and married my childhood sweetheart, Elizabeth “Bess” Wallace in 1919, and I had one daughter, Mary Margaret. I was then later elected to the United States senate 1934. Then I Was elected for vice President on November 1944.  I served as vice president just 82 days before Roosevelt died of a massive stroke, and I was sworn in as president on April 12, 1945.

             In the first six months of my term, I announced the Germans’ surrender, dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki—ending World War II—and signed the charter ratifying the United Nations. In March of 1952, I announced that he would not run for reelection. After retiring from the presidency, I returned to Independence, Missouri, where I wrote my memoirs, oversaw the construction of my presidential library and took long walks. I died on December 26, 1972, and I am buried next to Bess in the courtyard of the Truman Library.
