How to Create a Voki:

Hello, so if you were interested in my Voki artwork right above and would like to make one of your very own then, please, keep reading. Making a Voki avatar/character is a way to unleash your creativity and share different things about yourself to others. I will help take you step by step to creating your customizable avatar.

Before you start creating your Voki avatar, you have a choice on either signing up to create an account or you can go ahead and click on the ‘TRY IT – ITS FREE’ button. When you’re done choosing, the site will pop up with a system to create your Voki. It comes up with a little random avatar and on the side are three options. The three options have different steps of creating your Voki.

The first on says ‘Customize Your Character’ with three small boxes underneath. I used the ‘Customize Your Character’ one first, but if you decide that you want to go a different way then go ahead. It will give you a variety of characters, outfits, and jewelry or hats. So be creative on this part and have fun exploring the different types of characters.

When you’re done customizing your avatar as you want it to look, you can now go and give your avatar a voice. Right below the ‘Customize Your Character’ option, is the ‘Give It a Voice’ option. On this one you can give your avatar a voice, accent, and tell your avatar what to say.  You can either record by phone, text to speak, record with microphone or even upload an audio file (In order from left to right). On this one you can choose either one to use, just have fun with it. Once you’re done with that you can finally choose a background (There are tons to choose from).

When you have your customized character/avatar done and you’re happy with the end product you can now publish it. The publish button is right below the ‘Backgrounds’ option and next to cancel. You can then name your scene and click ‘save’ and share your Voki with anyone you want. I know I’m not the best at trying to give directions, but I hope you enjoyed it anyways. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Tagxedo:

Welcome, I will be showing you how I made this Tagxedo and why I chose the words I used in this image. The first thing I did to get the words I used is I took a personality test. Then, I took a picture of myself and edited it to look a little decent. I put the words of the personality test and some of my own and made it into the picture.

The reason of why I chose all those words is because they suited my personality the best and showed who I really am. The words describe what I feel and do everyday. The two or three words that I think fit my personality the best are 'Wallflower', 'Observant', and 'Shy'. I'm in the background and I'm always very quiet (Unless you're a friend of mine), and that's why I think these three words fit my personality.

These words and doing this project (Tagxedo) helped me understand who I am and to show others how I feel about myself. The words in the picture capture who I am and what I stand for. Most people would say I'm most of these things, but in the end I have a strong connection to these words.

Color Wheel:

A Color Wheel can be used for a multitude of reasons. If you wanted to become a famous artist then you would have to know how to make one and the reasons for making a color wheel. The three primary colors are used to make the whole color wheel. The colors are yellow, red and blue. You make tons of different colors using the three primary colors up top.

Anders Zorn was a semi-famous that usually painted beautiful paintings of women, but one of his most famous piece of art is named "Vita Liljor." Vita Liljor is a beautiful portrait of a flower. In the portrait Liljor mostly uses the colors blue and violet for the background of the painting and white and a little bit of yellow for the actual flower. It's suppose to be a calming picture of a peaceful flower that is popping out of the picture because of the dark colors in the background and how light the flower is.

Colors wheels can be used to find and complete opposite of another color and one that is exactly the same. With it you can make so may unique colors that are new and beautiful for anything you are creating. Creating something new is the whole purpose of the color wheel and is such a useful purpose.

Graffiti Wall:

Graffiti is a type of art that is usually done on old buildings, train stations, or anywhere in general. Where I live, we don't have a lot of graffiti art, but when we do I usually see it on old, run-down trains and buildings. Some of the reasons, I think, people have for creating graffiti is to show creativity and skill. To make a point and a loud statement.

To create a digital graffiti wall, you first have to go to a website to create any word or phrase into graffiti. Then, once you're done with that you download this thing on your computer called "Gimp". You add a brick background and your graffiti to gimp. Finally, you can do whateven you want to customize your graffiti wall.

The five words I chose for my graffiti wall are: observant, introverted, wallflower, protective, and daydreamer. I chose these words because that descibe who I am and what I'm like. I hope you enjoyed my graffiti wall and decide to make one of your very own.

Food Faces:

Giuseppe Acrimboldo was an painter best known for portraits made entirely out of food. Other times in his art he would create portraits with books, flowers, fish, vegetables, and fruits. He chose to make people entirely out of food because it was something unique and original. No one in history has ever created anything like he has so that's why it's special.

He probably thought is was cool and a cretive way to see art. The reason of why I chose the words I did is becuase of the different colors and shapes of the food and how you could place them throughout. Most of the foods I used were foods that I like to eat and I think they all complemented each other. It was really fun to create my food faces becuase of how creative and easy the project is.

This is my t-shirt design. It turned out looking ok, but it could've been better. Mistakes are what made it unique.
David Hockney:

She didn’t talk and they never tried to talk to her. She didn’t go to events and no one invited her to them. She had stuffed animal friends named Ruby, Volt, and Avery and they had human friends named Max, Logan, and Regan. She sat alone in the very back of the class that students would call “depressed avenue” and they sat in the very front of the class that the students called “Wonderland.” She was crazy and they were normal. May was not special, just insane. They weren’t happy, just excited.

She had mixed emotions, and voices in her head. Ever since that faithful day, she changed forever; and they changed forever too. She was tired of not socializing, but the voices kept her mouth shut. She began to be tired of being tire and the voice didn’t bother caring. They didn’t get tired and they “never will.” Never will, never will, never ever will.

“Stop doing this to me, just stop!” She screamed from the back of the classroom.

            “What is she doing?”

            “Mood swings, am I right?”

“Get out of my head, get out of my head!” She screamed.

She didn’t get them out of her head because she never got help in time. She was too stressed, anxious, depressed, and just tired. Nothing worked and nothing ever will work for it is the end of her chaos. .

Here lies May, a girl who didn’t get help when people wanted to help. She never saw the truth and therefore died without find the truth. May you rest in peace and harmony. Day of Death May 13, 1978.

In our world today, we face several social injustices from black rights to legalizing gay marriage. My topic today is about the LGBT+ community and legalizing gay marriage. Over years, we have all evolved from cavemen and mindless organisms to being a successful growing population. But there are still some problems and disagreements we still face. Everyone has their own idea of what life is suppose to be like, but can sometimes overpower their ideas, plans, expectations, and (most popular) what thay believe in. One of the most popular disagreement is legalizing gay marriage around America.

Gay marriage is against most religions and in America we have billions of people who practice different beliefs other than the most common, Christianity. We all have the right to practice our own religion, speak our mind, and be free. But we are not all perfect and sometimes forget that everyone has their right and we can't just shut them down. No one wants to be treated like a second class citizen, but people have their differences. When denying some people the option to marry it is helping create this second class rule that we are not all equal. Which is just wrong.

Some people (Donald Trump is most popular in believing traditional marriage) forget that the concept of "traditional marriage" has changed over time, but the definition of marriage is between one male and one female. We sometimes forget that love has no limits to what it can do. It shouldn't have rules and limitations because from what I believe and millions of others spread over the world is that love has no age, race, color, religion, disability, or even gender because it should be more powerful than any ruling dictator. It should be able to stand and fight for what it is and always be. Today people who have the same belief as I do actually stand up by protesting and making a statement that should be seen by others who don't feel confident to make a change.

Our rules in society, today, shouldn't separate the undying love between male/male or female/female. I'm not saying that gay marriage is better than traditional marriage. All that I'm trying to do is get my point across to people who don't believe that being gay should be a role to play in our own theater. We should treat gay marriage the same way we treat traditional marriage. We need to stop hiding our problems and fix what's wrong with our country.

If we don't distract ourselves from the real tragedies and dangers of the world around us. If we stand together, we could be even stronger than ever before because we will be infinite. We will stand strong, proud, and victorious. If we want to this way than we can't let small disagreements in our way of what matters most. We need to be equal, proud, and together.

Rose

Mother (of Rose and Light)

Light

Investigator

Investigator 2

Rose is the sister of the now deceased brother, Light. Light was a normal high school student. He was the top in all his classes and had straight A’s without even trying. He had some girlfriends here and there and was very social with everyone. But he had a dark secret that he couldn’t tell anyone, not even his family. He had a special book that dropped from the underworld (the Shimigami world). He used this book called the “Death Note” to kill everyone in the world that was bad. His plan was to wipe out everyone that committed a crime that was in jail or on the streets. He would be a god. He killed thousands, and everyone noticed that something was up. Police, investigators, and the best of the best were after Light. He was killed by his own mistakes and would be remember for years to come. The killer’s killer was no other than Near (N) who saved the day with Light’s own death note.

Rose was Light’s brother. She didn’t know anything about what her brother was actually doing and was surprised and heartbroken. People wanted answers to their questions, but she didn’t know. Investigators on the case wanted to know everything about Light’s past and didn’t want to investigate the mother so early, so they asked Rose to come answer their questions and she accepted the request.

[Rose] (talking to the investigator) “I didn’t realize…My brother was just your regular high school student, but he was definitely smarter than everybody else in his classes.”

[Investigator] “Did you notice him acting weird in school and at home? Remember always tell the truth.”

[Rose] “Well…Let me think for a second…Once in a while I would hear him talking to himself in his room, but I never questioned it or thought it was weird.”

[Investigator] “Near gave little information about this topic, but I guess I could tell you what we already know. He said that Light had this friend from the underworld called a “Shimigami.” Have you heard anything about that?”

[Rose] “Yes, I’ve heard about it before, but do you think that’s who he was talking to.?”

[Investigator] “More than just talking to. Apparently, the Shimigami helped Light kill anyone, at any time and at any place in the world.”

[Rose] “Really! How?”

[Investigator] “We don’t have that kind of information, Near's the only one who knows the truth, but-"

[Investigator 2]“Well, that’s enough talking for today. Thank you for answering some of our questions, it really helps us to figure out the whole story!”

[Rose is now walking home from the police station thinking about her deceased brother, Light.]

[Mother] (said fast with concern) “How was it? Are you okay? What did they say?”

[Rose} “I’m fine, everything’s okay. We just talked about Light.”

[Mother] “I really hope we get through this and everything will be fine again.”

[Rose] “I hope so too.”

[Mother] “Is your eye okay? Did they say anything about the patch?”

[Rose} “It’s fine, mom, it has always been fine. No, they didn’t say anything. I think they were scared to.”

[Mother] “Oh…Okay…I hope everything will be okay.”

[Rose] “yeah, I hope so too. I’m going upstairs to rest now. It’s been a long day.”

[Mother] “Okay, love you, mean it.”

[Rose walks up the stairs and passes her brother’s room that hasn’t been touched by anyone since his death. There’s police tape, from the police, so no one will mess with evidence. Rose walks to her door, but then walks back to his room.]

[Rose] (inside her head) “I won’t mess with anything. I just want to see if I can feel his presents. That’s all, that’s all.”

(Rose walks into Light’s room and suddenly feels warm inside. She walks around, remembering everything they use to do together.)

[Rose] “I love you and always will. You are still alive somewhere and I know it. I know you are here.”

(Out of nowhere, she starts to feel dizzy, she can’t speak, her vision is getting blurry and soon collapses on her brother’s bed.)

[Rose’s brother Light] “I love you too, sis.”

Board Game: Last to Die                        Partner: Zoe Church

   Instructions to Game Board:

Last to Die

Number of Players: 3-4          Age Range: 14 and up

Backstory:

For centuries, witches have been seen as evil and twisted creatures. They have been hated throughout the land and no one has ever treated them the same as they do their neighbor. No one has ever even regarded them as human. But what the villagers don’t know is that the witches walk among them. They’re everywhere. Sometimes disguised and other times they’re invisible. This plan has worked for witches for many years, but something happened. On the first of October, when cold winds and snowy nights were approaching. Something happened that changed history forever. A group of witches infiltrated a nearby village to steal chickens for the secret sacrifice that they would hold in their sacred cursed forest. Although they were dressed as average, everyday villagers, their identities were still found out and they were forced to run for their lives. They have to run as fast as they can to their forest. They casted a special spell that only allows them to go in. So if the villagers were to have a surprise attack on the witches in the forest, they couldn’t be able to go in. The spell keeps non-witches out. Will any of the witches survive without getting burned at the stake? Nobody will ever know…

Game Objective

The ultimate objective is to get to the other end of the board game without getting captured by the sadistic villagers. You must reach the end of the board without drawing a sudden death card. Anyone who gets a sudden death will automatically be out of the game.

Game Contents

The game contents include two decks of cards, a free standing game board, and a maximum of four game pieces used by the players.

Game assembly

You assemble the game by shuffling both decks of cards, setting up the board, letting the players pick out the game pieces they want to use.

Game setup

To start the game, you setup the board nicely and on a flat surface. Then, carefully shuffle both decks of cards, regular and tarot cards. You put both of the decks of cards on the two separate rectangles shown on the board. And, finally, each player picks out their game piece to represent a witch in the game. Put all the game piece each person picked out and put them in the place that says “start.” Game setup is the same no matter the number of players.

Game Play

The player who is wearing the most dark clothing pieces goes first. If this cannot be decided, then the players will play rock paper scissors to decide. When it’s decided who goes first the order of players will then be a clockwise rotation.

Turn Sequence When it is a player’s turn to play they will first pick up a card out of the regular deck. That card will either be one with a number on it or a special card. If the player drew a card with a number on it, they will then draw a card from the tarot deck. If the tarot card that the player drew says “negative” on it then the player will move the number of spaces that was on the regular card backward. But if the tarot card that the player drew says “positive” then the player will move the number of spaces that was on the regular card forward. If a player draws a negative tarot card while still on the beginning space, then that player will not move and it will be the next person’s turn. That player will not move from the beginning space until getting a positive tarot card. In the event that a player draws one of the special regular cards, that player will not have to draw a tarot card afterwards. There is no scoring in this game. The order play does change but only when a certain special card is drawn.

Special conditions

When you land on another player while playing the game, you’ll have to stay there. Two players can be on the same square, but no more than two. If, by any chance, three or four players are on the same square, then the first person to be on that square will stay in the spot. The second person to get in the square will have to go back one space (but only if there are more than two people on the same square). The third person to get on the square will have to go back two spaces and the fourth person will have to go back three. Hopefully, this will never happen. But if it does, then hope for the best because the rules are confusing.

Game Play variations:

There are three special cards in the deck of regular cards. One says “Captured.” This means that you have been captured by the villagers and will soon be burned at the stake. When you get this card, you can’t continue playing. So pick up your piece and throw it off the game board because you have permanently lost the game and the will to live. Your journey to freedom is over and there is no way you can continue to survive. The next special card says “Switch.” You are very lucky when you get this card because it means you can switch places with anyone on the board. You simply pick up your game piece and move to the spot you want and put that game piece in your old spot. The last card says “Lose a Turn.” This means that you can’t move until another round has gone by. When you get this card, you don’t do anything. After you pick up this card, it goes straight to the next person. When you pick up any of these three cards, you don’t pick up a tarot card. There is no need to for a tarot card in this situation.

Winning

You win the game just by fate. There is no way of telling who’s going to win or lose. When you’re the first person to get to the end of the board game, in the forest, you win. Or you’re just the first one to survive. The game can continue if there’s more than one person still playing. If there’s only one person playing, then they have lost and died. The other way to die is by getting one of the special cards called “Captured.” If you get it, then you die and lose instantly.
