Voki Writing Prompt

Welcome to Voki! Here you can create as many characters you like with an account using your email. If you don’t have an email just simply make one and use your email for Voki. After you have made your account you may continue.

The Voki website is on google and all you have to do is type in Voki.com in the address bar. Next you want to make an account so you are able to save and edit your character later on. After you make your account be sure to write down your log in details. Now you should click create your Voki character and begin designing your character to what you want him/her to look like.

Now you should be able to edit your character and design it to how you would like it to talk and what it should say to you. When I created my Voki I chose and American accent with a guy to speak it. At this screen you could make him/her to sound like they have an accent exe. Australian, he/she will talk in an Australian accent and say what YOU want him/her to say.

When you are done with your character personality’s, then you can start to save your character. All you have to do is click save and when you do this a screen will pop up and you can manage your character. If you want to put him/her or it on a website like I did then you click “copy URL” and paste to your site.

All in all, Voki is a good website as if you would like to customize and make your own visual character and share it with others. Now that you have you character made or when you do, you can share it with anybody you would like to see it.

Tagxedo

Tagxedo is a website you can always access when you want to and it usually works better on Firefox instead of Google Chrome. When you start you’ll want to pick and image or get one by yourself with a white background. After you load all of your picture you’ll want to change the blur to zero so you can see yourself and then you add words. These words could be anything exe. We chose to do personality words such as funny and happy. When you are done with this you can save your image and boom you done just like that, easy right?

The main reason I chose my words is because I took a personality test worth one-hundred questions and you’ll get a type of what you are and a list of words that you can use. When you choose your thirty words you can type them in. You can choose your words by how you live or how your friends think you are, maybe even your parents.

The picture of me shows all of the words I choose and a diagram of how I look. The colors of the words are blue cause I like the color blue. This is impressive because I took a one-hundred questions personality test, where I got most of my words, and I used them to describe myself.

Color Wheel Writing Prompt

Creating different types of art using the color wheel usually will result in a good looking picture of whatever it is you are creating. The color wheel will differentiate the different kinds of colors you can do for your project. Using this you can use contrast and compare the colors you would like to use like yellow and orange make a beautiful sunset across the green and yellow grass with blue and purple water. With the color wheel you can see what the color is combined and you can use this to create more complicated pictures.

Vincent Van Gogh created an art piece using acidic colors. When Vincent used the colorwheel he combined different colors like purple blue and yellow can make a cool looking acidic color. This affected his artwork because it made the artwork look acidic and artistic looking.

Graffiti is writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or another surface in a public place. Graffiti expresses your feelings and release tight tensions between others. Usually graffiti contains your gang or the people you hang out with and call yourself a name, and these people spray paint them wherever they feel like it goes. Sometimes these gangs get in fights and they start to compete using graffiti.

I created a graffiti wall using a computer and a program called “Gimp 2” and you’ll need a picture containing a brick wall or a blank canvas. When you insert your picture, you then go to this website; http://postergen.com/graffiti-creator. When you go to this website you can type in a word like your name and customize the color and font of the word you typed, then put this on your brick wall.

The words I chose to describe me are words that a found in my brain and a personality test. The test is worth 100 questions and tell you what type of person you are and people who took the test and were like you with the same type, exe. Famous Celebrities. These words I chose describe how I act and what others might think about me.

Food Face Writing Prompt

Arcimboldi, in 1558, he drew the cartoon for a large tapestry of the Domitian of the Virgin Mary, which still hangs in the Como Cathedral today. He probably had an awkward imagination in his mind to create these images. He choose to make it with food because he probably had a fascination with food. The thought process would be to create something unique to inspire others.

I choose my food for my face because I like the food I put on the face. It inspires me to think of what I eat and what I like. I put them together like that because it looks like an animated face from a cartoon character that I made up with food.

David Hockney Writing Prompt

Once upon a time, in land far far way, a little man named Luke stumbled upon a giant three story tall slug. This slug was huge almost like the people he saw when he was four. The giant slug had many friends including the praying mantis. When the two of these were together, they were destructive and nothing could stop them. The town of Japan, Tokyo was devoured last month within a day. Nothing, even nuclear bombs could stop them on that island. This is a tale of how these two bond together not only to destroy everything but break apart and tear their friendship with them.

When the first little monsters met, they formed a friendship that was a bond so strong even humans could not change it by separating them. When the Japanese encountered the two big monsters they couldn’t think of what could damage the monsters so they would die. When they finally thought of what could hurt or kill them, the use of Gunpowder, aha at last they found something. When they first tried this the monsters had resisted the bullet and acted like nothing had hit the flesh of their skin. This is when the allies of the Japanese came into play because they helped send supplies such as weapons and health supplies.

While the Japanese were fighting the Slug another animal that looked like a giant Praying Mantis. The wings of this thing were huge and could fly many miles in one swish! The Praying Mantis came to destruct the same city that the giant slug had already terrorized the city enough. Now they have to find the weakness of the Praying Mantis and to hurt the slug at the same time again. Now that they knew the weakness of the slug they tried it and nothing happened, sooner or later an American named Luke(me) thought of the small slugs on earth, he thought what kills them? Salt!

The slug has finally met its weakness, now that we know its weakness, Salt, now we need to find a lot of it. The Ocean! We just need to lead it to the ocean so that the salt content can absorb into the slimy skin of the slug. Now that we have a plan for the slug we must find one for the Praying-Mantis. Luke(me) came in and said, maybe the Mantis will follow the slug into the water and it might die with it. Alright now we need to get in a Helicopter and get the slug’s attention to bring them both into the water!

The death of these monsters is coming really close, as soon as the monsters got in the water they slowly stopped moving and started dying. When these big monsters went in the water the water level rose greatly and caused global floods. All together these animals died and peace came to Japan. Now that these things are gone we have learned lessons from these people who bravely fought the monsters, including Luke(me) for giving bright ideas to help solve the cause. Thanks for reading!

MLK Project writing prompt

Smoking can be dangerous and can cause health problems, pollution, and litter. Smoking is a worldwide problem to all and causing serious health problems. Another thing is that the smoke from cigarettes contribute to the already problem, pollution. And the little yellow ends of the cigarettes, people just lay them on the ground and even worse, they just leave it there for someone else to pick up! People are interested in this subject because they have many adult friends and used to have family members that smoked. People want to help contribute to stop the constant use of smoking.

Smoking can increase the risk of health problems and has many ingredients along with the smoke. The smoke includes, Nicotine which gives you hunger, headaches, Anxiety and many other side effects. This is why people who smoke continue to have these problems and yeah smoking might help calm you down but doing so includes many other problems that smokers will face after. Smoke also contains Tar, which deposits in the lungs and goes into blood cells which then goes to other parts of your body. Cigarette smoke contains 4000 chemicals including over 50 known causes of cancer. Carbon Monoxide is also found in smoke from a cigarette which affects oxygen carrying cells and reduces the oxygen and is bad for pregnant women because with lack of oxygen to the growing baby the baby will not form correctly.

Cigarette smoke causes pollution and because the smoke has over 4000 chemicals it can damage the lungs of small Children and cause lung cancer as well as many other cancer problems in your body. Pollution causes health problems as well as environmental issues. A page on the internet says “An average American breathes 2 gallons of air per minute which means around 3400 gallons of air each day.” This means that you are breathing an unhealthy amount of pollution and also the web says “Inhaling air pollution takes away at least 1-2 years of a typical human life.” So this means that we need to stop air pollution and one way of helping is to stop smoking and is one small step to help a giant cause.

Of course! The company could put a logo with a person throwing the trash away on the pack! That’s an amazing idea says the people. This could really help the environment and other animals that eat things on the ground. This could also help the grass regrow if we remove and significantly reduce the little yellow ends from a cigarette on the ground. Litter is not a thing to play with, you could kill or harm animals that are living in the universe. Plus, millions of dollars are used to clean up the litter that you effortlessly throw on the ground, instead use that energy and put it in a trash bag! Those little yellow ends are found everywhere. Those smokers need to pick them up and actually throw them away instead of throwing them on the ground for someone else to pick up and complain about.

All together smoking is really dangerous and can put yours and others lives at risk. Air pollution, litter, and health problems also come with cigarettes, would you risk all this for just your leisure time or pleasure to yourself? Or would you come and join us on the act to stop smoking and help better the environment for all lives. This is a worldwide problem and we need to stop. The tobacco business is making money while you’re wasting money and endangering the lives of others. Help stop this cause and Thank-you to all who have read this and hope that this paper has swayed your mind about smoking. Thanks!

Setting: School Hallway

Harold Zhou: What’s up Bobby!

Bobby Flay: Nothing much, just hanging out here, what about you?

Harold Zhou: I’m just always getting bullied by this dude named Daniel.

Narrator : (Harold and Bobby begin walking down the hallway with Harold)

Bobby Flay: Yeah, he’s been getting on my nerves as well, but he’s really good at football.

Harold Zhou: (stopped Bobby in the hall) Are you seriously on his side?!

Bobby Flay: Yeah Harold, what would we do about it, he would just beat us up all day!

Harold Zhou: What if he didn’t know we did it? What if we told the teachers and the principle? This would change things for everyone that he bullies!

Bobby Flay: Woah, great thinking, let’s go tell the teachers right away. But what if he figures out that whoever told the teachers was us?

Harold Zhou: Then we’ll lie and tell the teachers about the problem. BOOM, solved

Bobby Flay: Great so let’s go. (Begins to walk towards the Principles office)

Harold Zhou: Uh oh, here he comes again

Daniel Hairy: Ha-ha, look at these losers!

Harold Zhou: (stays quiet and looks away sadly)

Bobby Flay: (looks at Harold and then looks back at Daniel) Daniel, back off Daniel, leave us alone!

Daniel Hairy: Oh look what we got here, guess I’ll have to do it the old way, back in the toilet losers.

Narrator: (then Daniel begins to carry them both in the bathroom, then the principle walks by)

Principle Perry: What are you doing!

Daniel Hairy: Umm, just taking my friends for a trip:(

Bobby and Harold: No! he said he was going to stuff our heads in the toilet!

Daniel Hairy: (says quietly) Shut up you losers

Principle Perry: This is outrageous, Daniel come with me, and the two of you. Go to class.

Daniel Hairy: Thanks a lot you guys, I’ll be watching you

Narrator: (Daniel Hairy and Principle Perry leave)

Bobby Flay: Yeah you’ll be looking through glass to see us

Harold Zhou: Sigh, thankfully Principle Perry came walking down the hallway.

Bobby Flay: well that solves our problems and many others’

Harold Zhou: Yeah, hopefully

Narrator: Later on Daniel Hairy was expelled and all the trouble was soon gone and Harold and Bobby solved their problems.
