Here is my Voki



My name is Jackson Hughes. I created my Voki as a cat. The first thing I had to do was, get a Voki. I picked the cat as my Voki person.

Then I had to put some accessories on it, I put a necklace on it with it saying #1 cat in the world. Then I had to put some words into it and gave some information about me. Saying my age, favorite hobby, and information.

            I picked the cat one because I like it, and most people would’ve just picked a human. Then the background just made it look cooler. I had to change the color of it to black, because the normal color wasn’t good enough for me.

            The next thing was if I should keep it as this cat, and I checked it. Then I was almost done I had a typo so I fixed it. And then my Voki was finished.

Now my Voki has a name, color, accessories, and background. And it is done, but I could add more if I want. My cat it is the best Voki cat that is on the Voki site now.


Tagxedo

I made a Tagxedo made out of words. I had to pick words, then put it into Tagxedo. Then I had to change the color, so I could see myself and make it come out correctly. Then after that I had to put it on Yola.

            The words I picked were some of the words on my personality quiz. I had some words, that I thought didn’t go with me, so I didn’t put those in it. And after that, my Tagxedo was finished.     

            I think that Tagxedo, is more of a true representation, than a traditional photograph. Because it showing you words that you pick about yourself, like its showing your personalities. In a traditional photo it’s just whoever is in the photo and no words to show your personalities.  

     People who use color wheels, have many different colors to use. If someone just uses like one color at a time, they won't have many colors. But for an artist who uses a color wheel has multiple colors to chose from. The artist can mix the paint colors to get a unique color that is not just plain "Red".

     One of the many artist, who have used a color wheel is "Leonardo da Vinci". He used a color wheel, to paint Mona Lisa. He used a total of five colors to get the photo done. It affected him cause this is the piece of art that everyone knows about, and probably one of the most famous. And "Leonardo da Vinci" is one of the most famous artist alive.

What is Graffiti writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or other surface in a public place. People create it to show off their work in public places. People do it in skateboard areas, just cause they like doing it. Other people spray it on trains to show off their work all over the place.

How did I create digital Graffiti? I Had to go get my words to look like Graffiti. Then after the words were done I had to save them, the paste them on to GIMP. And then we had to put them in place, and use tools to make it look right.

Why did I choose the words I did? I choose these words because they were the ones, on the website. The words were words, that choose our personalities. And they were four words that stood out to me on the personality quiz.

            Giuseppe Arcimboldi created art made up of different things. He used objects such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and books. He made these pieces of art, because they were the first kind, and people liked it at a distance, and close. His thought process was like, him thinking of different art.

            I used this art, because we were told too. I used simple items that I could think of, and the things that I have eaten. I put them together that way, because it went together, and looked like a face.



            Jackson Hughes was born in, Compton California. He grew up in gangs, and was always in trouble. Jackson liked making art while in the D-Home, and would keep it at home in a book. Jackson would never admit that he liked doing art, but his mom knew he did. Twelve years later Jackson was Eight-teen, he got out of gang violence at Twelve years old. The past six years, Jackson Had been doing school and art.


 He got a scholarship from Academy of Art University, and went to the school for 5 years.  Jackson Started using computers more at college, and he found a famous artist named David Hockney. Jackson liked the way that his photos made the picture look creative, and more important than other photos. Jackson decided to use the David Hockney effects on his photos, and people started liking his art more. He became a full time professional artist, and got to go where-ever he wanted too.


 Jackson got to go to the most famous museum, the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. He Got to talk with a lot of famous, other artist that were there. The museum was holding a reunion, and was holding a surprise to show a piece of Jackson’s work. They had put the day off before, because one of the artist were sick. Jackson liked the museum, but he didn’t know what was happening today.


            Jackson Arrived at the museum, on 10/20/2016 and quickly walked around to check the place out. He liked seeing a lot of other art exhibits. They had a party there for the huge reunion. Jackson Got steak, and wine. His most famous piece of artwork was him as a kid, but in Hockney style. And it showed what he looked like at age 13, but gave more detail and colors.


            The museum, got everyone at the middle of the art hall. They got Jackson to come on stage, and he was in total shock, and didn’t know what was going on. They gave Jackson A certificate and he know knew what was about to happen. He started tearing up, and they pulled the curtain off the picture and it was Jackson’s most famous piece. It was his childhood picture, at 13 years old. They had a summary under the photo about the art piece. They put his photo next to the original David Hockney’s photo.  The party ended, and Jackson Flew back to Compton to his house, and after 3 days later, Jackson Died at 73.

 



  When I was ten years old, it was 1777. When I was a child I would never get in trouble. Mom and dad were working all the time on the farmland, I had to do most of the work, but I didn’t get paid at all. We had to wake up at six o’clock, and go to school, then go till two-forty-five. After school we had to walk to our farm, and work till nine o’clock with no breaks. It was hard, so I kept a diary of my daily life. Little did I know I would be doing this for five more years, till 1782.


Now at fifteen years old, I went to study for the presidency, with my dad being the vice president of the U.S.A. I studied for forty-two years, I met many good political people while I was studying for the U.S.A. My dad got me to meet George Washington, He was a very smart political guy. I didn’t know he had wooden teeth, till he said “Want to see a magic trick Sir, Quince?” I said sure, then he pulled out his teeth. I was definitely going to put this in my diary, and keep this now forever.


On march 4, 1824 I became president, I knew what I needed to fix after studying this U.S.A. I went first to what I thought was wrong as a child. I fixed the school system’s, and made them better. Then I found while studying we needed new roads, and canals, so I fixed those too. We needed a way to keep money in a high-security place, so I made a national bank. One of my biggest, and best things I did was take Florida back from Spain. I had many achievements from being a president, but I helped many.

One injustice I face today is being separated from my friends in my classes. I don’t usually talk to my friends when I’m in class, but teachers just suppose I don’t work next to my friends. When I get moved to somewhere I don’t like, that’s when I don’t do my work.         I tend to work better with people I know, because I tend to communicate with them when we have assignments that we must talk.

I notice the teachers have loud people next to their best friends, and they talk more than anyone. They don’t do their work, and they just play games. One way the teacher could fix it would be Giving the students a chance, and see what they are good at. By putting them next to someone you don’t know, you could possibly make friends with them. But if they don’t like you, you’re screwed.

But to fix “Classroom Segregation”, they need to give the students a choice, and speak their opinion. But for now, in these grades we don’t really have a saying in a conversation.

Steven- Me too, I’m going to look good with those on!

*So Khaleb, Steven, and Jack went to the mall, with their girls and there was a huge line.

Khaleb- This line is way too long!

Steven- I don't have time for this.

Jack- Lets find a way to get in their faster.

*So Khaleb, Steven, and Jack went to the air system and hopped back in line at the front.

Khaleb- That big guard almost got us.

Steven- Its good now, we gonna get the J’s First now.

Jack-  I’m gonna get the bred 11’s

*So everyone got bred 11’s, and ended up looking fresh.

Age Range  6+

 This Game is about trying to get to the rocket before it leaves. The first person to get on the rocket is the winner and gets to leave on the rocket!

Game Objective 1.Pull a card and move your player up one, if it has Explosion on it, you go back to the first square.

2.There are cards, they have numbers on it, and some power up’s, and bad cards.

3. Pull an explosion, you get shot back to the first square. Game Contents A deck of cards, and a board with rockets in the background with squares on the board.

Game assembly One person will open the board, and fold it out. Then get the cards from the box and place them in the middle, and give them to the first player.

Then pull a card, and start the game. Game setup There can only be 4 players, you can do less players and it’ll go faster. But if 4 play its going to take normal time.

Game Play Who starts? The oldest person goes. Who plays next? The second oldest. Turn Sequence – Pull a card and send it to the next player. What happens at the end of a round? The Game ends after one person gets on the rocket. Special conditions For instance, the person who lands on them sends them back 1 space.

Board Spaces – They’re only numbers and show where the player is at. Special Cards – The explosion card, sends you back to first square. And the take spot card where they can take anyone’s spot. Winning/Scoring Whoever gets to the end first and gets on the rocket before it takes off. It matters who gets the right combo’s and gets on the rocket. There can’t be a tie because they only go at once. Game Play variations (if any) Try to put a timer on the board, so the rocket will go off on a timer instead of just one player getting on the rocket and it taking off.
