How I created my Voki
The first thing I did I looked on Edmodo where I got my directions. Then I created an E-mail. I put my phone number in and some other information about me. Next I went on the website which is http://www.voki.com.
Next thing I did I clicked the login in button. The next thing I did is I pressed make a new account and then put my information in like what I want my password to be and then make a user name. Normally when you make your user name first name [dot] last name, and make sure for your password that you use letters and numbers. After that I am done making my account.
The next step I did was to choose a voki character. You cannot not choose a voki with the graduation hat they cost money to do them. As soon as you find a voki that you like, you are able to choose what it looks like, but it is limited. You can add make up and change the color of it and you can also change the amount of makeup that is on it. You can also change the facial features a bit but it is only the nose and the head. You can choose the width of the head and the height of the Voki character. Same thing for the nose except that you can only control the width. You can also change out fits and hairstyles.you can also change the background.
The next thing you do is click on the image that has a little t on the keyboard. You type in the stuff you want in it. My teacher gave me questions for me to answer on Edmodo. These are some examples that can just give you an idea.Tell us your name and about yourself. What is your family make up; brothers, sisters, parents... What things are you interested in outside of school? What is something crazy that has happened to you in life? What do you hope to do after high school? What thought s do you have right now concerning what you would like to do after college? What town/state would you like to live in someday and why? What are you most interested in concerning art? What should people expect from your webpage?
You can change the voice of the voki if you want. It is right underneath your text box be careful what you change it to because it could change the language. Then when you are done you save it .If you are going to post it on a site you can just save the links but there are other ways of saving it which I do not know very well.
I have enjoyed this art project very much it has taught me a lot. It kind of helps with computer programing and if you were trying to learn a language it could help you with that as well.
What is a Tagxedo? A Tagxedo is a cloud of words that describe you. You can put it in any shape you like. How I made my taxedo? First thing I did I took a picture of myself and loaded to my computer and went on a site called http://www.tagxedo.com/. Then I typed thirty-two words that describe me.
One of the word I thought described me best was casual. The reason why this stuck with me because I really don’t do stuff out of the ordinary. I get up, eat breakfast, do homework sometimes and then go to bed.
This portrait is a good description of me, the reason why. Is every word on my portrait describes my individuality. Yes, I think this image describes me more than an actual photo. In a photo all you see is a body and a face not your individuality.
A color wheel was invented in 1708 by Isaac Newton. It depends also what kind of artwork that you’re doing. It basically helps you with blending your existing color scheme and décor. You can use it by trying to find complementary colors and you can find it by choosing a color that you like and then drawing a diagonal line and that would be its complementary color.
The theme I did for my color wheel was analogous colors that means that they are colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. They usually match well and create serene and comfortable designs. Analogous color schemes are often found in nature and are harmonious and pleasing to the eye. Example, Red, Red-violet and Violet.
Van Gogh was one of a famous artist that used the color wheel. He used the color wheel to make complimentary colors. It affected his artwork by making the colors complement each other. Like for example one of his artworks called Café Terrace had orange and blue accentuate each other in the painting and it caused his paintings to pop out more to.
The color wheel is a great thing to use and make. I suggest if you want to have great peace of art work you should use a color wheel. Also if you are designing a room and you are trying to find colors that complement each other than you can use a color wheel for the room or ahouse. So these are all the uses for caller wheel. Graffiti is a writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or another surface in a public place. You can use graffiti illegally or legally. The illegal way you can use graffiti is by using it for vandalism. Some people use graffiti for gang symbols. The legal way is by getting permission. The most popular kind of graffiti is called a tag. A tag is when you sign your name on a wall. A lot of people create their graffiti to express themselves.
I made a digital graffiti wall on gimp. I used a site called http://postergen.com/graffiti-creator to make words that express me. Then I opened gimp, and found a picture of a brick wall, and put it as my first layer on gimp for my background. I chose five words that described me but you can do more. You can choose different colors and fonts on the website, also you should use the white background. As soon you are done with your word that describes you. You have to put it as your new layer on gimp. To get rid of the white on the background you need to click on the picture and then right click and click on alpha channel and then erase the white around it.
I chose crazy because I am a little crazy at times at my house especially. Dangerous because I like adventure and sometimes it can be dangerous. Creative because I like abstract art and most of my art is very scattered. The reason why I used great because I think iam a great personand I think I have a great since humor.
Arcimboldi was an Italian painter best known for creating imaginative portrait heads made entirely of objects such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and books. The reason why he used those objects to make his food face. Was because he used the food from his culture and from that time period.
My food face is a different than Arcimboldi, because instead of using things from my culture I used several things from different cultures, and I was kind of random with my work I didn’t really have a good picture what I was doing. I also used mostly fruit and candy. I made my food face by making my hair with basically most of the food in it. I made my food face that way because I was trying to put as much food on my food face as I could.
Our project was basically taking pictures of each other . My picture was taken first and I didnt like it, so we took another. The second one was also really bad to blury. We took at least 10 pictures of me, the tenth I thought was perfect. Strangly though, after about 20 minutes the picture stated changing; it started turning light grayish blue then it turned gray.The picture started becoming mishapen. By this time I was starting to get scared, soon after that I heard a second zap and Iwas stuck in the picture. I couldn't move, everything started to disolve around me and then every thing started to get dark .
The next day my friends had forgotton all about me. Years have gone by and no one seems to remember my name.I am waiting in time, in the same place, at the exact hour just waiting for someone or something to release me from this picture. I am in my old diary, my friend picked it up and just looked at it, she didnt know it was me in the picture. As I end this story about this picture and why it happened maybe one day you can release me from this torture.
Air pollution can also be the effect of land pollution because most pollution effect each other . The pollution that I am mostly concentrated on is land pollution . Land pollution can be caused from litter found on the side of the road ,illegal dumping in natural habitat ,oil spills that happen inland ,the use of pesticides and other farming chemicals,damage and debris caused from unsustainable mining. this is not going to be able to fix all pollution but this will be able to fix some of it. The thing i am mostly concentrated on is the effects that garbage is not separated into organic, reusable and recyclable waste. This Garbage is just left there and the toxic materials that pollute the soil can get into our food like fruits and vegetables. This is extremely bad for us and sad thing is many people do not try to fix it .
To fix the problem of pollution is to make people recycle. How can recycling help with pollution ? If people recycled the companies would have to use less resources to make products ;which means less pollution . Some people might make the point that some people do recycle and they already have recycling bends , but not everyone recycles. Only 75% of Americans recycle that means 25% of Americans don't which doesn't sound big but it is still a lot of people that do not recycle . The 75 % of Americans that recycle only recycle certain things .They don't recycle everything that they should.To fix this problem by requiring people to have to recycle . Maybe by requiring the government by putting recycling bends on every street.There are many ideas to fix this problem but that is just one of them.
One plan is to go too congress and pass a law that tries to regulate companies about how much materials that their company can produce.The companies that would be regulated would only be companies that use poison gas or gasses that are considered pollutants.Hopefully that would help some of the pollutants in the air.There are also government regulations already in place like in January 2011 began requiring certain manufacturing facilities, farms and power plants to obtain Prevention of Significant Deterioration. So it's not like the government doing nothing.
My hope is to go to congress and proposal a bill to requires every house hold to have a recycling bends. If everyone recycled 40% of the worlds waste would be gone .There is also another proposal that is a little more radical basically this bill suggest that everyone who refuses to recycle would get a warning and then the second time they would have to pay a fine. I think this bill is to radical and I do not think this plan will work 100% and I think it gives the government a little to much control . These are just some plans that could fix pollution.

Scene 1:
DARK ALLEY. Around Midnight.
In the back of an alley, two men, in black, attack a young woman. One of the men, armed with a sword, lunges at Jubei. A man walking by sees the conflict and rushes to help.
JIM: Stop!
Jim pulls out a gun from his chest holster.
JIM: "Swords down slowly- and get your hands up."
Narrator: The man and woman continue fighting, but the other man turns and throws a dagger at Jim. Jim dodges the dagger and shoots the man. The fighting stops as the other man grabs his wounded friend and they escape the alleyway.
JIM [walks slowly toward Jubei, pointing the gun at her]: Put down the sword now!
Jubei lays the sword at her feet and raises her arms in the air.
JIM: What went on here?
JUBEI: "Those two men attacked me. I was able to get one of their swords and was trying to protect myself when you walked up."
JIM: Why did they attack you?
JUBEI: It’s a long story. I can tell you what happen over food .But first can you put down the gun?
JIM: OK. Fine. [holsters his gun] There is a diner around the corner.
DINER
Jim and Jubei are entering an all night diner. There are only two other customers sitting at the bar. They choose a small booth near the back.
JIM [ calls out to the waitress]: Give us two cups of coffee and two cherry pies.
JUBEI: Thank you , for saving me and feeding me.
JIM: Your welcome. So, what’s your story?
JUBEI: Those men in the alley. They were part of my family in Japan. I was kidnapped when I was a child and they kept me isolated. I recently was able to escape and they have been trying to get me back.
Waitress serves coffee and pie. Jubei starts eating rapidly.
JIM: How long has it been since you have eaten?
JUBEI: Uh…I am not sure…I think I ate the day before yesterday. I have been on the run and hiding. It has been difficult.
JIM: You mentioned Japan. When did you get here from Japan?
JUBEI: Two months ago.
JIM: What is your name?
Jubei: looks at her fake Visa
JUBEI: [pauses] Sarah. Sarah Jones.
JIM: Really? Sarah Jones? Seems to fit you. Do you have your driver licence?
Jubei: I have to go .
Goes outside of diner.
Jim: Stop. I'm taking you in for questioning.
Jim: Points his gun at Jubie.
Jubei: Ok , fine if that's the way you want to play it. Jubie pulls out sword hidden in the back of her blouse.
Jim : Don't make me shoot!
Jubie :Swings her sword.
Jim : Falls on the ground and drops the gun .
Jubie: Points sword to his face .
Jubie: Don't follow me if you wanna live.{Jubei turns around and walks away.
jim : Grabs the back of the pistol and knocks her out.
The vision of the past.
A small girl sits on a rock near a clear spring . She is excited because she is almost done with her training. She would be the number one student in her class . She just has one more course to go through.
Ninja:Sister the father needs to see you .The ninja refers to the ninja master
Jubei: Why ?
Ninja: If you want to survive better stop asking questions.
Ninja : You do not wanna end up like that guy.
Jubei: looks over to the man who was just recently executed.The guy was tide to a wooden pool with his arm tide above his head and a sword stuck in his heart .
Ninja: Go now.
Jubei : Ok.
Jubie walks to the biggest building .
The building had wooden floors that were very squeaky .
When jubei walked in she saw her three brothers.
Ninja master : It's time for the next challenge.
Jubei: what is it?
ninja master :Fight to the death is your final challenge.The three of you are to be competing against each other.This will prove if you are worthy to be called ninja.The fights starts in 15 minutes.
Min: I refuse to fight .
Ninja master: if you refuse to fight then i will kill you .
Min:I refuse .
Ninja master grabs his sword and kills him. Jubie walks into a room with many spectators watching.
Lynn: Are you ready .
Lynn and Jubie both choose weapons .They look at each other for a long time .Then Lynn makes the first move , Lynn puts his feet forward and brings his sword to side and leaps at Jubei. Jubei blocks his sword and kicks him to the ground . Then Jubie brings her sword up and stabs Lynn in the arm .
Jubie: I am so sorry . I can't do it .
Lynn : *screams*
She wakes up in the mental hospital the next morning.
The End
First you will need 2-4 players.
The first person to play is determined when everyone takes turns rolling the dice , and whoever gets the lowest number goes first. Then you will play counter clock wise from the first player.
Then the players will choose their game pieces, and set them on the starting space. The first player will roll the dice and the amount they roll will be the number of spaces they go forward.
The player might land on a space called a card space. So, if you land on a card space you will choose from the stack of cards. The cards will tell you how many spaces you will go back, or forward.
The objective of the game is to get to the Jumbo space and hit the center and say “Jumbo” before the other players do. The other players can hit the center to stop the player at the jumbo space from winning.
If the other player hits the center before you and says jumbo you must go back to the beginning, but if the other players messes up you win.If you mess up and everyone messes up the game restarts.
